The Wellington Group is seeking an experienced Procurement professional for a Global Leader in Dairy innovation. In this role you will lead the strategic development, execution and monitoring of bulk cheese sourcing.

Responsibilities Include:

• This position will be responsible for the optimization of bulk cost, quality and service.
• You will work closely with Operations, Sales and Supply Chain to drive improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
• This position will provide leadership support to multiple production facilities.
• The role will also be responsible for monitoring global dairy markets and providing risk management support to both internal and external customers.
• This will include the execution of initiatives such as forward buys and CME dairy market hedges to optimize the results for customers.
• Finally, this role will drive year-over-year improvement with our suppliers focused on cost reduction and quality enhancement.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• At least 5 years of Procurement Experience
• A food and beverage background
• Experience with forward buys and hedging
• BS in food science, business, or other related discipline
