The Senior Process Development Engineer will be responsible for multiple aspects of the development of the company’s product line, from R&D through commercialization.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct non-clinical testing in compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
• Prepare animal and bench test protocols in cooperation with test laboratories
• Oversee performance of tests to assure compliance with protocols
• Prepare written reports and presentations of test results suitable for submission to regulatory agencies
• Manage development of  terminal sterilization process
• Manage development of commercial packaging with contract design/assembly firm
• Coordinate development/test activities with multinational suppliers for product improvements
• Reports to the Director of Development

The qualified candidate will have:

• Demonstrated success in developing implantable medical products through commercialization
• Proficient in managing animal and bench test programs: Protocol preparation, directing testing, completion/presentation of reports for regulatory agencies
• Highly skilled at managing test laboratories and product suppliers
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously to meet schedules and budgets
• Must understand statistical analysis and use CAD software
• 10+  years experience in medical device development/testing, including implantable products
• BS (or higher) in engineering/science
