The Software Development, Testing and Quality Engineer will provide guidance on Quality System Practices as defined by company practices, policies and SOPs to ensure that FDA, ISO and Int’l Medical Device quality standards and regulations are met. Will also develop and assess the quality programs and systems of the division and products to applicable standards and manages software bugs and compliance issues.

The qualified candidate will have:

• BS Degree in Engineering is required, MS is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment in Software Development, Testing and Quality Engineer
• Strong understanding of FDA and ISO standards, writing and approving quality and validation documentation
• CAPA, NCMR, FMEA, Design Control training and experience is required
• Working knowledge of electromechanical assemblies, special processes, process validation techniques, software life cycle management, software test methodology, FMEA and design control
• Ability to work with both automated and manual testing tools
• Experience in the medical device industry with emphasis on capital equipment a plus
