The Wellington Group has been engaged to find an experienced strategic sourcing professional for a large retail food chain. Put your expertise in the sourcing and procurement of food goods and services to work in a great organization with a well known Brand!

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for administering the sourcing strategies
• Commodities, goods and services strategic buys
• Compliance to company policies and quality measures with strategic procurement and vendors
• May be tasked to head multiple categories in Food, Beverage and Services

The qualified candidate will have:

• Three years experience in a procurement role
• Restaurant industry, QSR or foodservice distribution experience
• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) preferred
• 4-year degree required
• Ability to work in a team environment across functional responsibilities
• Very strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a strong business acumen
