The Director Supply Chain Management will have overall accountability for the Manufacturing Supply Chain function and will be responsible for developing a world-class outsourced manufacturing model. Focusing on managing cost in the supply chain and implementing world class inventory management practices, the Director Supply Chain Management will develop and run the required end-to-end product supply chain capabilities in alignment with cost, customer quality/reliability and other key company deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

• Materials Management / Logistics, Purchasing, Commodity Management and Inventory Control, monitoring Good Manufacturing Practices with co-packers.
• Evaluating business processes; designing, developing, and implementing improvements that reduce cost, improve effectiveness, and improve the overall quality and magnitude of the process.
• Managing a variety of processes and working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance and obtaining expected benefits from supplier contracts with inventory and sales data requirements.
• Identifying & implementing new supply chain initiatives.
• Managing and supervising material requirement plans and/or forecasts; establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting; measuring actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management.

The qualified candidate will have:

• A minimum of 7 years senior management experience in a supply chain related field, food processing and distribution is ideal.
• Experience in implementing a Planning / Forecasting system.
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• In-depth experience in material planning and procurement, Inventory control and management, production planning; setting production requirements and managing execution; material movement; and service level negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships and work collaboratively across an organization.
